Endurance

As a woman with chronic illness, “endurance” is a loaded concept for me. I’m more convinced than ever that the voices of disabled folks, particularly those at the contending with intersectional oppressions (race, gender, sexual orientation, class), should be at the center of the resistance we mount against the current administration and any other threat to our collective humanity. I’m so proud of the people in this community—those who’ve gone before and those who are newly activated. We are strong together. I post this and continue to virtually march alongside y’all until we all have what we need to survive and thrive.
